Finding Passion, Peace , Purpose and everything in between

If you say the title fast enough, it rhymes — go on try it! If you are like me or any other Creative Person in this world, you would have now become really tired of hearing about the 3 P’s “Passion, Peace, and Purpose”. My passion is food, (though I’m a picky eater) and If I was to follow the said passion I would have diabetes by now and my purpose is to help people build something but if I did that I would be so tired. Peace is pretty much relative so that’s also out! 

Why is society telling us to find these elusive things that may or may not fill us in a way deemed successful by society itself? Seems pointless and for a way for us all to compete to find all these things right? When you really actually think about it, we are all just here trying to survive and keep our heads above water.

I remember in 2013, for example, I was going super hard with this Blog! I had an anniversary event, got sponsors, went to events, did sponsored posts for international brands BUT! I also had no time for anything else but that! Whenever I met someone new (usually a guy) he would ask “So what do you do for fun” my reply would always be “ I work“, was I lying? Nope! But I was certainly missing out on enjoying life and all the in-between moments being caught up chasing my passion and purpose and trying to find peace.

It wasn’t until a few years ago I decided to go with the flow of things and it has been scary, yet amazing. If you ever feel stuck in a rut like you are not moving forward — there are 2 things to think about: 1. Only YOU can hold yourself back and 2. You are EXACTLY where you are supposed to be.

I feel like I am nowhere close to where I need to be, but I’m pretty darn close and I actually have the life I’ve always dreamed about. Instead of placing so much emphasis on Passion, Peace, and Purpose, enjoy and cherish the moments as they come along.
