How Aloe Vera Changed my Life

Pinterest LinkedIn Tumblr

Don’t you just hate reading these type of headlines then think to yourself  “what the fudge” — How can Aloe Vera change a person’s life, it’s not that deep. Well, believe it or not, Aloe Vera did actually save my life!

Sit back and relax, as I take you on my [personal] Aloe Vera skincare journey.

It all started when I hit the 29 mark when I noticed that with every cycle would come the huge bumps and “acne scars” after they went down. This was particularly surprising as I didn’t have acne during my high school and university days and I literally “didn’t know how to act“. I started hearing about fresh aloe vera gel and found out it has uses for skin care, hair, and weight loss — most of all it was free and already in my yard.

})();

I decided to try an Aloe Vera Skincare challenge to clear my skin for 7 days. You simply cut the aloe vera from the ground or whatever it’s planted it, cut the prickly sides off, cut the aloe vera in two them rub the fresh gel on your face for 7 days straight. You can keep it on your face for 15-20 minutes then rinse, or you can do like me and allow it to dry on your skin and keep on overnight then rinse in the morning. I personally think this works better for me as it really works overtime on my skin while I sleep.

By the 3rd day, I realized the scars were starting to fade (without bleaching my skin —very important ) and my skin was smooth, soft and tight! By day 7 the “acne scars” were un-noticeable –this was some sort of magic and it’s all natural. I’ve used Aloe Vera Gel after my 7-day challenge when I feel a breakout coming on and when my skin feels dull and needs special care.

Aloe Vera definitely changed my life and I also now use it in my hair and use it as a detox to aid with removing toxins from my body and giving me that naturally snatched look.

Let me know if you have tried Aloe Vera for Skin or hair and how you liked it.
