“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
I am a one-woman show and I’ve been a one-woman show since I’ve started this Blog among many other creative projects I’ve taken on. I’ve also been an extremely tired woman because I’ve been a one-woman show.
As a creative person, I pour so much into others that it sometimes leaves me drained that I have to step back and take breaks which I hate. In 2017, I decided that something had to give and reached out to a few other creative people and the results (though chaotic) were amazing — the best part, I wasn’t tired. Something amazing happens when people come together for a common purpose to get something done which forces each person to pull their own weight and play to their own strengths. It allows you to think more and come up with even better ideas since you are figuring it all out with some equally or more creative people than yourself!
Imagine, pulling a 1000 ton weight up a mountain all by yourself while passing several people on the way up, who are willing to help, If only you asked. Sure there is the belief that if you want something done you have to do it yourself but there is the other side of that says “no man is an Island“.
For this year, one of my major goals is to reach out to more people and collaborate to create amazing content, work on more projects and meet more interesting people. I have tons of great (and not so great ideas) and will need people to help me make them come to fruition. If you get an e-mail or message from Haute, be sure to oblige.

We have a small favor to ask. People are reading the Haute Lifestyle than ever since our recent placement in the South Florida Blogger Awards but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. We do not have investors and everything Blog related is funded out of pocket– we want to keep our journalism as fun and open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Our article takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective and voices matter – because it might well be your perspective, too.
