Kingston Kitchen: The Night Market

Pinterest LinkedIn Tumblr

Food Bloggers, Food Lovers, and “People who love dem Belly” from far and wide came out to support the event dubbed “Kingston Kitchen” the night market. The thing that makes this event stand out is that it is a one-day gastronomical extravaganza that is held up to 11pm!! You heard that correctly, this is the one time you are able to eat after 7pm without feeling guilty.

The event featured specially created + curated dishes from some of Kingston’s top chefs and Restaurants. As I was working at the event for my day job, I was only able to sample a few dishes which did not disappoint!

})();

I opted for Tacos as they were filling and easy to eat so I ended up at “Taco Don” from The Cove which was simply delightful! Whenever I get Tacos I’m always disappointed as there is always waaay too much lettuce than any other filling and it’s always greasy. The Tacos from Taco Don was none of that! The shell was handmade and cooked to perfection. I had a soft and hard shell and the fillings inside were the perfect amount –in fact, it was so much that I had to eat the remainder with a fork and the cucumber salsa was a nice touch!

Unfortunately, that was my only meal, but below are a few highlights of a few of the booths I was able to capture. If you went to this event — comment your favorite booth below.
