2020 is my year! Whenever a new year rolls around these are the types of posts you will see when you go on your Social Media profile on January 1st.
There is nothing wrong with making a public declaration and claiming things as a way to manifest exactly what you want in life. I believe there should be a clear strategy, hard work, and intention behind your declarations to make things really work. We here at Haute People have a clear and strategic way of how we plan on dominating 2020.
If you are interested in learning how we’re dominating 2020, keep reading!
Set Timelines
This advice was given by my trainer in a program I’m currently taking and it has resonated well with me. Instead of arbitrarily saying you want to do something, set a timeline. In my case, I hope to be finished with this program by March 31,2020 with all outstanding balances paid off as well as sitting and passing my exam.
This gives me a realistic amount of time to get everything together and with an end date set my brain has already processed and completed this action.
Update your Appearance
medianet_width = “728”;
medianet_height = “90”;
medianet_crid = “185308422”;
medianet_versionId = “111299”;
(function() {
var isSSL = ‘https:’ == document.location.protocol;
var mnSrc = (isSSL ? ‘https:’ : ‘http:’) + ‘//contextual.media.net/nmedianet.js?cid=8CU3G4D0M’ + (isSSL ? ‘&https=1’ : ”);
document.write(”);
})();
Yes! We’re going there as some of us have neglected ourselves (myself included) and this year we will be working on that. One of my goals this year is to eat better and have a fitter, toner body and while I have not been to the gym yet, I have been preparing my meals from home and only eat out on the weekends — I have given myself a realistic timeline to get a gym membership by the 3rd week in February. Another aspect of my appearance I have been working on is my style!
I became the queen of the Jeans, T-Shirts, and Flats last year and this year I am dressed! I am wearing more jeans, dresses, and heels and I ensure my hair and (minimal) make-up are well done. Ladies and gentlemen, there is no shame in looking good on the outside — I actually find that when I’m well dressed I feel a lot more confident to go out and meet people and face the world and I even have a spring in my step.

As a Blogger, there is a lot of pressure to document every detail of my life but this year I’m committed to just living it. For those really personal (intimate) moments when I get to experience something amazing instead of taking a photo or boomerang, I’m just basking it all in and just taking it all on.
Therapy
I have gone through so much emotional stress and trauma that Therapy is necessary. I started in 2019 and the techniques I learned really put me on track and helped with emotions and forgiveness and all the heavy things that came with it. Because of my busy schedule and demanding work hours, it was neglected mid-2019, this year I would like to go back and really overcome everything in the past.
I truly believe 2020 is my year! Whatever happens, both good and bad I will be ready to accept and work on both!
Let’s claim it together and work hard on making it all happen in our favor.

We have a small favor to ask. People are reading the Haute Lifestyle than ever since our recent placement in the South Florida Blogger Awards but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. We do not have investors and everything Blog related is funded out of pocket– we want to keep our journalism as fun and open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Our article takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective and voices matter – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who reads our posts, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure.
