Hi Guys!
If you work in the New or Digital Media Industry, the goal is always to be top of mind and to be relevant. There are a few ways this can be done: visual, audio, or in-person. You can have the most fantastic product or business but if nobody knows about it, does it even make sense? It was just last year the team at VoyageMia, a Magazine based in Miami reached out to me to let me know that I was nominated as a rising star in Miami! This of course was cool as I was putting in the work and had no idea my reach in Miami was so large! Fast-forward to this year and they reached out again for a feature in Shoutout Mia!
I Got Featured in a Magazine …Again!
The Shoutout feature is designed to help get the word out about great local businesses, artists, and creatives.
The thing I like the most about VoyageMia is that they tell your story in a natural way in your own voice without anything being altered. This of course has its cons because they actually don’t edit the responses, so if you are not the best at grammar, it might be rough but luckily there are tools like Grammarly.
In the feature, I answered a few questions about Life, Business ad of course Blogging. There was one question that stood out to me as I feel we all deal with this on a daily basis which asked:
Hi Lorane, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
This is a very important question as I feel entrepreneurs are faced with this daily. If there is something I constantly think about the minute I get up until I fall asleep, I know this is an idea worth pursuing. The know-how comes along naturally, the right people somehow enter my life to help me execute and things are just aligned! It’s a spark I can’t explain that comes from within. This is how I know I can’t give up. On the other hand, I usually give up after giving something a maximum of three failed attempts. This clearly indicates that it is not for me and that my efforts and energy are best suited elsewhere.
If this piqued your interest, you can go ahead and click the link below to read the full interview!
Please share the interview to help me to reach a wider audience which will help me to grow this blog to appeal to an even wider audience that expands beyond Miami.
Let me know in the comments when you know when to give up on something or keep going.
