Carrie Bradshaw’s Most Iconic Looks on Sex and the City

The beloved controversial sitcom that first aired June 6, 1998, on HBO turned 20 this year and we are here for it! 20 years ago I was 11 years old and got into the series when I was in High School but fully understood just last week! Back then, this was one of the raunchiest shows on TV and you would literally have to hide to watch it even in High School. There is no doubt that Carrie Bradshaw was the best-dressed female on 90’s T.v and we’re still loving the outfits as they are chic and timeless and are relevant to today.

With your immense support on the last “Carrie Bradshaw” article, I thought it was only right to bring you Carrie’s most iconic looks from SATC ?

The Tutu

The opening credits of the show see Carrie strutting the Manhattan streets in a white Tutu and a blush pink top before being drenched in water by one of those pesky New York cabs. Throughout the season, we see upgraded versions of the tutu that seemed to mimic where Carrie was in her stage of life –let’s not forget that powder blue dress she so casually slumped into bed with BIG.

The J’Adore Dior Outfit?

In the words of Joanne the Scammer “Iconic“! Who mixes couture and casual? Carrie Bradshaw of course! This was the perfect ensemble to run into an ex while shopping in the local market of a low-key fancy desert. This outfit was significant as it showed the juxtaposition between high-end and casual.
