We are calling all fashionistas! Mission Catwalk, the popular fashion design competition show, is returning in just a few days on October 7, 2023!!  This season is more exciting than ever, with new judges, a new mentor, and a new grand prize.

If you’re not familiar with Mission Catwalk, it’s a show where aspiring fashion designers compete in a series of challenges to test their creativity and skills. The winner of the show gets to show their collection at Paris Fashion Week, which is a dream come true for any fashion designer.

This season of Mission Catwalk 2023 will be judged by three fashion experts: Carlton Brown, Novia McDonald-Whyte, and Keenea Linton-George. Carlton Brown is a Jamaican fashion designer who has dressed artists like Aidonia. Novia McDonald-Whyte is the Senior Associate Editor of Lifestyle and Social Content, at The Jamaica Observer and is known for her stylish and sophisticated sense of style. Keenea Linton-George is a Jamaican fashion designer.

Matthew Harris will serve as the mentor for the contestants this season. Matthew Harris is a Jamaican fashion designer and entrepreneur known for his innovative and sustainable designs. He is also the founder of the fashion brand Matthew Harris.

Mission Catwalk Season 7 Prizes

Here is what the winner will receive this season

• A chance to show a collection at Paris Fashion Week valued at J$1,500,000.
• J$500,000 cash prize
• Industrial sewing equipment valued at J$300,000
• Photoshoot with renowned fashion photographer valued at J$200,000;
• Print media advertising package valued at J $500,000.
• Scholarship to pursue a fashion program at the University of Technology (UTech)
